The Blade plug is a safety accessory used to cover the emitter of a saber when the blade is removed. It also improves its aesthetics and prevents glare by slightly dimming the light. The body of the plug is made of machined acrylic and is available in 4 different lengths depending on your saber.

Protecting the LED during handling without a blade, the blade plugs provide the ideal finishing touch when on display. Even simpler than changing a blade, fitting and removing are made easier by the perfectly adjusted dimensions allowing it to slide effortlessly into the blade slot (one of my fears was not having a grip to remove it easily once in place) and a slight tightening of the screw is sufficient to hold the blade plugs in place.
