The greatest generals were not distinguished solely by their victories.
They wore the symbols of their rank.
Among them was the Lónglín Jiǎ, the dragon-scale armor, a piece as remarkable for its engineering as for the authority it embodied.
The few surviving examples come from ancient burial sites, where they have been preserved for centuries. But beyond their rarity, it is their design that continues to fascinate us today.
Rather than relying on heavy, rigid plates, this armor used thousands of interlocking metal scales. Able to slide against one another, they dispersed the energy of impacts while providing the wearer with remarkable mobility.
For the generals who wore this armor, the dragon scales represented much more than just protection. They were a symbol of rank, authority, and power, intended to inspire respect as much as to intimidate the enemy.
The Mirah Dragon's Authority reinterprets this legacy in the form of an exceptional saber.
Built on the Mirah platform, renowned for its light weight, ergonomics, and handling qualities, this model retains the elegant lines of the original " hilt " while incorporating particularly intricate engraving.
The main section of the hilt is covered with a uniform scale pattern created through chemical etching. Ornaments inspired by traditional Eastern art and cloud-like patterns adorn the activation band, the Covertec section, the angled transmitter, and the pommel. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, the scales also create natural grip points that enhance the user’s grip.
To replicate the appearance of armor unearthed from ancient mausoleums, a finish inspired by metal oxidation was applied and then hand-patinated. This treatment darkens the recesses while highlighting each scale with remarkable detail.
As a final tribute to the swords carried by generals of that era, a bright red “ Tassel ” is attached to the machined ring on the pommel. A direct reference to the scarlet tassels historically attached to officers’ weapons, it adds a striking touch of color and enhances the visual impact of the entire piece.

Brushed Silver: Aluminum surfaces are hand brushed to a satin finish with a subtle texture. Other parts of the sword are anodized in matte black.
Mirrored Silver: Aluminum surfaces are hand polished to a glossy "mirror" finish. The other parts of the sword are anodized in matte black.
Weathered Silver : The sword is completely brushed. Then the edges and surfaces of the sword are meticulously hand sanded to give a texture and wear effect.
Matte Black: The sword is fully anodized in matte black.
Weathered Black: The sword is fully anodized in matte black. Then the edges and surfaces of the sword are meticulously hand sanded to give a texture and wear effect.
Acid Etched: Customization consists of defining patterns that will be applied to the sword before it is dipped in an acid formula that will transform these patterns into engravings when in contact with the aluminum. The procedure is done after ordering and after discussion of the different possible options.
All Sabertrio custom lightsabers have a limited warranty that covers failure or damage due to workmanship or manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of completion of the order. This warranty does not cover failure or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alterations or normal wear and tear. Improper maintenance or attempted repair by any party other than Sabertrio or its designated representatives will void this warranty.

If your sword qualifies for a warranty claim, all shipping costs will be covered by Sabertrio, however we reserve the right to choose the shipping method. Warranty claims always have the highest priority. This Sabertrio limited warranty is not transferable.
